Roper Hollow is a boat launch tucked in the wilderness. It is a 3 mile drive down a dirt road. It is not recommended for large boats. It has a launch with no dock, there is a restroom and shoreline trails. Hopewell and Handsome Lake Campgrounds are located directed across the reservoir. It is located off of Scandia Rd. The Fee is $5.00 per day payable at the self pay station. It is open year round with no winter road maintenance, therefore inaccessable after snowfall.
