Boat Launch and Day-use
Located just off Scandia Road, Roper Hollow is a boat launch tucked in the wilderness. A 3 mile drive down a dirt road, and not recommended for large boats. There is a launch with no dock, a restroom and shoreline trails. Hopewell and Handsome Lake Campgrounds are located directly across the reservoir. The Fee is $5.00 per day payable at the self-pay station. It is open, weather dependent, April 1st to October 29. There is no winter road maintenance.
